Robyn Tinney is a Co-Teacher at KIPP Philadelphia Elementary Academy. Although this is her first full time classroom position, Robyn has participated in programs such as Jumpstart, Freedom Schools, and Big Brother Big Sister. Robyn has spent the past two years in an early childhood learning center. There she taught pre-k, and after receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Temple University became facility director. Originally from Washington DC, Robyn currently resides in North Philadelphia with her playful puppy. In her spare time she enjoys cooking for loved ones, crafting, and dabbling in interior design. As the product of a college preparatory charter school, Robyn decided to teach at KPEA because she believes that in the proper environment, all children can achieve optimal success and envisions herself as a part of their successes.
