Naomi Wischnia

Co-Teacher

Information:
Naomi Wischnia is thrilled to be a Co-Teacher at KPEA this year! Born and raised in Philadelphia, Naomi is excited to be living and teaching in the city she loves. For college, Naomi attended the University of Pittsburgh where she studied Developmental Psychology, Social Work and Children’s Literature. Throughout college, Naomi taught pre-school and spent time tutoring high school students from Urban Pittsburgh. After college, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in Elementary Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Naomi has always loved teaching and especially loves exploring literacy with children. Some of her best memories as a child are about reading and she is hoping to create those same memories for her students at KEPA! In her free time, Naomi loves to cook and spend time with her friends and family. Naomi is excited to both teach and learn at KEPA this year. She is very proud to be working at a school that is making a difference in the city and giving students the skills they need to go to college.
